ObamaCare is nearly a complete failure. One only need look at the VA healthcare system's recent high profile fiascos to understand ObamaCare's final destination.

Although quality of care is very high for those with access to private health insurance, costs have skyrocketed, particularly over the last decade. Over regulation by the Federal government combined with a "third party payer" system has nearly destroyed the doctor/patient relationship. In particular, there is a huge disconnect between patients and the price they ultimately pay for their care. Additionally, the cost of malpractice insurance that doctors must carry has spiked in recent years due to the abundance of frivolous lawsuits.

I will vote to repeal ObamaCare. I support market based approaches to healthcare reform, especially those which restore patient choice and the connection to the cost of the medical services they receive.

I will also support legislation that allows individuals to buy insurance from companies who are located out of state, something currently not allowed.

Finally, I will support tort reform that reduces the number of frivolous lawsuits
